The Palouse
A long awaited trip to photograph the Palouse region of SE Washington shortly after the winter wheat was planted and showing it’s verdant green hues across undulating hills. All photographs captured with a Sony a7r or Leica M10.
The super-telephoto images were taken between 200 and 400mm from high atop Steptoe Butte, a massive mound sticking up high above the Palouse. Steptoe provides the perfect perspective to take in the endless rolling hills blanketed with color and texture from the newly-planted wheat and lentil fields and the fields sitting fallow…
